From NOLA to Dublin GA

I was recently in Dublin GA where I was formalizing the Mother’s Day Concert I was planning for this year. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with the Downtown Revitalization efforts in this seemingly small urban town. It was fresh and clean and modernized with a quaintness that is as warm as the people I encountered. I was quite comfortable with making Dublin the place I would invite friends and their families for this upcoming concert.

Now I have to tell you that when I was told there was a New Orleans Restaurant “The Company” that had great food I promised myself I would be graceful upon the first taste. After all unless you have spent lots of time eating lots of Cajun dishes your tastebuds would be less than adequate to judge good Cajun Cuisine. However I couldn’t have been more wrong.

I wanted to bring to light some of the great finds in the area around the Concert site. There was no choice but to try this restaurant so I did. I wanted to try several samplings so I first ordered a cup of Gumbo. I would take a picture to show you how delicious it looked and hopefully entice you to try it.

Well, I took a spoonful first. Then I took a second. Then I took a picture to show how really delicious it was. Here it is. I just couldn’t help myself. It was so good that by the time I realized I should take a pic I was done. It was delicious. So I took a pic of the empty bowl then ordered the oysters.
